Things to do in Dallas

Looking for something to do while you're in Dallas, TX for the Automotive Recyclers Association's Annual Convention & Exposition? Here are a few free activities to explore during your off time. 

1. Pioneer Plaza Cattle Drive- A park that observes the nineteenth century cattle drive that took place along the Shawnee Trail. It is the largest bronze monument of its kind. 

2. Dallas Farmers Market- The Market is open seven days a week and offers a variety of fruits, vegetables, plants, nuts, and herbs sold by local vendors. 

3. Bonnie Parker's resting place- Crown Hill Memorial Park is the site where Bonnie from the infamous Bonnie & Clyde is buried. 

4. Fair Park- Home of the largest collection of 1930s art deco exposition style architecture. 

5. JFK Memorial and Dealey Plaza- The John F. Kennedy Memorial is located in downtown Dallas and is in walking distance to Dealey Plaza, the location of JKF's assassination.

6. White Rock Lake- A man-made water and park area that is perfect for biking, paddle boarding, or a scenic picnic. 

7. McKinney Avenue Trolley- The M-Line Trolley is a free trolley that runs through uptown and downtown. 

8. Southern Methodist University- A nationally ranked private university that holds an abundant amount of Dallas' history and architecture.
